Luck: Concepts of Good Fortune

Do you believe you are lucky? Really, stop right now and think about it. Do you ever just muse over how lucky you are? Sincerely ponder about your good luck and how blessed you feel in so many ways? Well, if you do, then kudos to you! This is a good thing!

Good Luck or Good Fortune is truly good old fashion positive thinking. Interestingly enough, when we believe that we are lucky then pretty soon all those around us hold that thought and image of us. Our friends and our family think and say things like, “ Wow, isn’t she lucky?” or “He always wins prizes or raffles. He is so lucky!” or “Oh, it doesn’t surprise me that she won the lottery! She is always winning something.” Well, their beliefs and thoughtforms combined with our own beliefs and thoughtforms are what actually creates our reality. It seems so simple, doesn’t it?

If it seems so simple, why aren’t more of us feeling, acting and living in a way that is magnificent and simply fabulous?

Part of it stems to how we may feel about others good fortune. When we make those comments as mentioned above regarding another’s good fortune, is it with genuine happiness for their good fortune or with the attitude of why them and not me? Are we saying or thinking, “Good for them! How nice!” or are we harboring jealousy and focus on believing that ‘they’ are always lucky but not me?

Well, if by chance it is the second category then it it’s time to shift that attitude and be genuinely happy when good fortune is manifesting in someone’s life. The reasons are multifold. When we are truly happy for another, we are actually coming from of place of abundance. We know and believe that there is plenty for everyone. Here is a reminder for all of us that there is plenty for everyone. And that plenty includes happiness, financial abundance and security, true friends and loving family, good health, joy, inner peace and more. It comes back down to what are our personal beliefs? What thoughtforms are rolling around in our heads? It really is important to examine our own thoughts and take a good look at whether or not we are being negative.

This brings us around to bad luck. Ha! I believe that good luck disappears when we are focused on what is not working or not happening in our life. Bad luck manifests when there is too much negativity in our thoughts, words, actions, TV programs or movies we watch, music that we listen to and in the people that we hang around with. Well, well, those are quite a few things to take a look at, isn’t it? Instead stay focused on gratitude for what we do have and focus on what we want to achieve and manifest, then that is what becomes evident. All that we are thinking about and working towards with focused intent, a good heart for all concerned and Love will manifest good things, our hearts desires . . . . or Good Luck! As you think, so you are.

Luck is simply manifested by believing in yourself and all the good that you are and that you deserved. If you believe that you are always healthy, then you are always healthy. If you believe that you are beautiful, then you are beautiful . . . and be prepared for others telling you that you are beautiful. If you believe that you live a charmed life and maintain that belief you will find that your reality will reflect that belief. So live a charmed life! Good things happen to people who believe that good things will happen to them. And the best part is that it doesn’t cost you anything or hurt anything to try this. When you do, you will be so lucky.

In appreciation to St. Patrick and the legends and myth surrounding the celebration of his life, we are grateful for the reminder of good luck. I grew up in a neighborhood in Brooklyn that was very ethnic in more than one culture. On St. Patrick’s Day we all honored the Irish celebration and wore green and shamrocks on our clothes in our neighborhood. I continue that tradition today in celebration of the green-ness of life, the good-ness in us all and the good luck belonging to all. Let us all do the ‘wearing of the green’ to acknowledge the good luck and good fortune we all deserve. May we all remember that magic lives in our hearts, our thoughts and our beliefs. May we all have joy and happiness and love always.

New Release! Think Good Thoughts: Positive Affirmations for Everyday Living

I am so pleased to announce that my new CD is now released. Think Good Thoughts: Positive Affirmations for Everyday Living is created just in time to increase your self-esteem and your ability to manifest a happier life. I have 6 other CDs that are Guided Meditation CDs. This new release was inspired by the need to listen to something positive while driving. The graphic artist who did the artwork on the first 6 CDs commented about the statement on each CD, "Do not use while driving." He said, " Margaret, you should create a CD that says 'Use while driving.'"

This CD, Think Good Thoughts, is exactly that - a CD to listen to while you drive to help you maintain good thoughtforms. You can buy it online or in person at The Crystal Garden.

Unfortunately, many of us have worrisome thoughts on a regular basis. When we worry, we have a tendency to attract more of what we worry about. Yet when you change your thoughts and focus on the possibility of something better, miraculously it occurs. This CD is set up to listen to repetitively and to repeat the positive affirmation within or out loud. Thoughts and words create things. So use it often and change your life!

The artwork for the cover was created by Victoria Rose Martin She is an accomplished artist in many media. In fact she is a professor at Palm Beach Community college teaching others. Her husband, Jody Pollard, recorded and mixed the CD for me. He worked on it until it was perfect.

I am so please to have my CDs at the Whole Foods Markets throughout most of Florida. Pictured here on the left are my CDs at the Whole Foods in Boca Raton. Whole Foods also carries them in Aventura, Plantation, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach Gardens and hopefully soon to be at the Naples and Wellington locations.

I just connected with a sales team who will bring my CDs into North Carolina, Alabama, and into Whole Foods in other regions as well as many other bookstores. All my CDs sell well at Whole Foods as well as at my own store and other grass roots stores around the country. They are very affordable. Only $12 each.

My new release was premiered at the Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull Event on January 22, 2009.

The event went so smoothly. I must say that my staff and I are very good at running these bigger events. Here we are on the right.

In this picture with the skull (from left to right) Bill Homann, Tecia Linville, Pam Elliott, Vickie Mitchell, Me!, and Chrissy Clark. I welcome speakers who can draw in up to 300 people. It's good for our community to have the gift of these amazing events.

The Crystal Skull event was so loving and enjoyable. Everyone was in a peaceful space and loving kindness permeated the energy of our space. The event was held at the Boynton Woman's Club in the Grand Ballroom

The Crystal Garden had a booth with a sampling of our crystals and books and much more. Natural Awakenings of Palm Beach County did a fabulous job with articles, ads and press releases announcing the event. Here on the left you will see Leah Lou Patton, publisher of the Palm Beach edition with her sister and colleague, Mishal. Much gratitude to these 2 ladies.

People flew in from L.A, Canada, Mexico, Kentucky, Arkansas, and all over Florida. Everyone had the opportunity to sit with the skull, take photos and experience this profound artifact. We are very grateful.

And, at the end of the night I had my turn with the Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull. It was an honor and a privelege to host this event and be a channel for bringing this skull into South Florida.

I could probably ramble on for a while. But I'll spare you . . .

With great joy I sign off for now!

Clearing out the old and ringing in the new year!

I'm ringing out the old AND ringing in the New Year. Who knew I'd be playing these Crystal Singing Bowls on a regular basis?! It just goes to show you that you never know when one thing leads to another.

I remember that back in the mid-90's I bought my first Crystal Bowl. It's in the closet in a box now. I hardly use that one because it's quite big and harder to handle, carry and transport. Now I have a set of 7 Crystal Singing Bowls that travel easily because they nestle within each other. This set is also tuned to each other so it's a nice transition from one bowl to the next. When I first started using them, it was one of those ideas that popped into my head, probably from one of my muses or angels. (I'll address the difference between muses and angels in a separate post.) I was already providing guided mediations and crystal alignments, but using the crystal singing bowls was whole other variation on the theme. Wow! Did I find out how powerful a thought can be!? You betcha!

As life evolved, I started offering the Crystal Singing Bowl Meditations with every New Moon to help myself and others manifest our heart's desires. Voila! It works! Attendees have had fabulous results. So eventually I created a CD so people can do the meditation at home and now I travel with my bowls to other stores, yoga studios and centers to offer this meditation and manifestation tool.

I'm off to The Crystal Garden to offer the meditation tonight. I figured it's a great way to let go of the old year and start out the new. Talk about "ringing in the the New Year!" What a great way to do it. Is is old age or New Age? Who cares, as long as it helps and makes you feel happy and full of Love, Light and Well-Being.
