More photos from the Road

As promised, I've uploaded photos from the time I spent traveling to the International Trade Show (INATS). Some of you follow me on Facebook so you may have seen them there. INATS is a trade show for visionary retailers to meet with vendors, publishers, musicians, artists and each other to buy new products, rekindle friendships from throughout the US and Canada as well as attend workshops and events that feed our soul.

We had so much fun. I had our Wholesale Division at Booth #600 just through the arches of Llewellyn Worldwide's booth. (Llewellyn is the house that publishing my book!)

Here are some photos of my colleagues and I enjoying the show.

There were so many other people who I connected with over the weekend. I wish I had taken more photos yet the truth be told - I was busy writing orders. It was a good show and many more stores throughout North America now carry the medical grade Essential Oils of The Crystal Garden along with my line of CDs and my Aromatic Mists and Sprays. My motto with the oils is - "Healing the planet one spritz at a time!"

Gem Spots

It seems that Gem Spots had taken over my blog for a while. I'll still post them but they've turned into Gem Spot Affirmations on my Fan Page on Facebook.

Every morning for about 3 weeks, I start my day by sitting down at my computer to upload a photo of a gemstone Facebook with a matching affirmation. Life keeps getting better and better for me. It appears that my desire to assist other by providing this service of a photo and affirmation is working within my own life. Beause I'm starting my day with an affirmation and then have a tendency to go back to Facebook to see if anyone "likes" it or made a comment - I repeat that same affirmation 3 -5 times per day while visiting that Fan Page.

Today's post was:

Gem Spot Affirmation is for Rhodochrosite: "I
am love. All that surrounds me and all that is attracted to me is love. I am confident and secure. I am grateful."

Amazing Journey! Garden of the Gods

The Colorado Summer Tour was amazing. I met so many wonderful people throughout Denver and Colorado Springs. The weather was perfect and the sacred sites were amazing!

I also had an excellent experience at Celebrations when I shared a lecture on Meet Your Guides and Angels while visiting Colorado Springs. I hope to return their next year for another speaking engagement, this time with my book, Chakra Awakening. Take notice that I've changed my blog so my book cover is front and center. It's coming out with Llewellyn Worldwide April 2011!!

I think my favorite place was the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs and Old Colorado City.

I like to travel to these Sacred Sites as they carry the vibrations of many people who have visited there in a pilgrimage fashion. As I walked among these stones, I connected with the ancestors who have walked on these paths before me and the wisdom they carry in their consciousness. Perhaps some day someone will walk through and pick up the vibes of Margaret Ann Lembo traveling to these parts!

This picture above is a small representation of the Anasazi Cliff Dwellings. I've been to Cliff Dwellings in Canyon De Chelly at White House Ruins in Arizona and the dwellings at Mesa Verde outside of Durango, Colorado.

I'll post some photos here of the Garden of the Gods.

I have plenty more photos and adventures to share. So I'll continue to post as I have time to catch up. I dedicate this post to my friend, Virginia, who loved the Garden of the Gods as her favorite place on earth. I had the great pleasure to spend time with her daughter and her new grandson while I was in Colorado Springs. Now Virginia observes all these goings on from the Heavenly Realm. Blessings to her.

Gem Spot - Peridot

Many indigenous cultures had and still have a medicine man or shaman of the tribe or village. These men and women had to go through various rites of passage or rituals where they transcend the challenge presented through inner strength, connection to higher realms of consciousness and Divine Will. I remember reading about a tribe where the ritual consisted of letting a poisonous snake bite them. It was up to that shaman or healer to heal themselves through mantras, prayers and their inner transformational and trans-mutational powers.

These men and women were also know as the Wounded Healers. In our society, we have many wounded healers. They are the people who rise above addictions and then sponsor others to assist them in their recovery. They are the ones who survive cancer and then create support groups to guide others through their transformation.

The stone I associate with this Wounded Healer energy or the "healer heal thyself" vibration is peridot. Peridot is also beneficial to help you transform negative emotions like self-sabotage, jealously of others and agitation and impatience with people you love. It is also beneficial to assist you in digesting life - accepting your world as it is and then transforming it with clear intention to create the reality you wish to have.

As you work with peridot, like any stone, form an intention. Place it on or around you so every time you see it, think of it or touch it you reignite your intention and create your world.

Gem Spot - Malachite

Malachite is green - the color of the heart. It has patterns upon patterns of swirling shades of green representing the lessons of the heart that we go through within this lifetime effectuating healing for this life and past lives. Malachite is a stone that helps one get to the heart of the matter. As we repeat patterns in relationships again and again, we finally get that there is a lesson to be learn after enough repeat performances. The emerging pattern with one relationship after the other helps us to grow up mentall, emotional and spiritually.

When we finally realize that a pattern has emerged or rather that we have emerged from the maze or the labyrinth of the heart just as portrayed within the swirling maze of the shades of green within malachite. What patterns are you repeating? Are you ready to emerge from the labyrinth?

Gem Spot - Selenite and Kyanite

I'm writing today's Gem Spot post flying at 36,000 ft on my way to speaking engagements in San Diego. I automatically think of selenite and kyanite because of the loft energy of these two rocks. These two gemstones raise your vibrations providing the opportunity to connect with higher consciousness. Selenite, when used with conscious intent, raises your energy allowing for a higher frequency to hook up with your mind and thoughts. Kyanite twins up nicely with selenite aligning your energy centers so they are harmoniously working to provide a perfect vessel for communication with the higher realm.

Conscious intent is necessary when working with any gemstone. This means you are purposefully putting your awareness and thoughts on using the inherent vibration and the color of the gemstone to bring you intention into manifest reality. Put simply, think the thought you want to create while looking at or holding the gemstone. Be mindful to rid your thoughts of thinks you do not want and stay focused on what you do want.

You can practice this now by looking at these photos and making a decision about receiving messages from your very highest vibrational guides and angels. The next step is to believe you are able and worthy to receive guidance from the highest realm. Pay attention to the signs from above that come in sometimes subtle ways. Messages come through visits from animals, movies you watch, bumper stickers you notice, and songs you hear. Be mindful of the inner voice and trust your intuition. Decide you can trust your inner guidance. You'll never know if you can trust your inner guidance until you try - so just do it!!

I'm sending crystalline thoughts of Love and Well-Being you way as I fly through the air with the greatest of ease - and now as I'm on the ground and actually online posting this from San Diego. California dreaming , , , ,

Gem Spot - Rose Quartz

Rose Quartz is favored by many people. And it's no wonder, because this pink quartz radiates love, comfort, compassion, well-being and a "dome of  Love."

A number of years ago I was in relationship with a man who was extremely negative. It took me longer than I would have liked to realize it before I disengaged from that connection. I learned a lot during the process. The red flag should have gone up when he responded to something I said that was positive and loving about the world. His reaction in a very nasty tone was, "What's wrong with you? Do you live in a Dome of Love?" I responded in my joyful and sometimes child-like way, "Oh, yes! Would you like to step into the Dome for a while? It's quite nice in here."

He would have no part of the Dome of Love which also was a dome of Integrity, Truth, Impecability and much more. His vibration couldn't handle it. I always have hope for people which is why I hung on to that relationship for a while. I finally woke up to realize I deserved someone who already lived in their own dome of Love, Integrity, Truth . . . and so on.

Rose quartz is a good relationship stone. It's good for bringing more love into all types of relationships. We have many types of relationships; the relationship with yourself, platonic relationships, work/career relationships, parental relationships, sibling relationships, animal relationships, garden relationships - OK  . . . we have a relationship with All That Is.

Take the time to contemplate Love and what the All That Is means to you.

What does your Dome of Love feel like? Tell me!

Strands of Power

Being of Italian ancestry, my family and friends always did everything with great passion. We really felt to the depth of our being. If we had anger, we expressed it and sometimes quite loudly. If we cried from sorrow, often it was so deep, that those outside of our "culture" might perceive it as being dramatic. I believe that it is better to live life with passion and vigor and be criticized or judged, than to stop shining your light out of fear of being judged. It is time to return to your center, your sacred legacy, your heritage and your connection with your ancestors.
Sometimes the return to the center is retreat or non-action. Non-action can be very powerful. This is much like the energy of the spider. The spider sits in her web and waits for her food to come to her. She doesn't need to leave her web. Yet she does take care of her web. Spider weaves her web so it is beautiful and strong. She repairs any broken strands in her web and untangles the web when necessary. However, she waits in her web for her nourishment to come to her. In remembering the lessons of Spider, we recapture the essence of feminine power. This feminine power is an energy which has nothing to do with gender. It is energy within each and every man or woman.
You are made up of energy. Your energy is made up of strands of power. If a strand becomes weakened or broken, it is up to us to repair our own energy.  You cannot look outside yourself and expect someone else to make it better. You may ask for help or assistance, yet the bottom line is that you must do the work yourself for that strand to be truly repaired. These strands also link us to all your memories, people and places you have experienced as well as all your relations.
When strands or cords of energy stay attached to you because of negative interaction or demeaning circumstances, they create challenges in your ability to function. You may act or react based on a cord or a series of cords that attached to you over many years due to unhealthy destructive relationships. These cords can be severed using intention and consciousness. Archangel Mikael can always help too!
It is time to truly recognize your personal power. It is time to recognize the love that you are and always have been.  Once we realize what is good and what is not good for you, including people, places, habits and thought forms, then you must do something about it.

Don't miss the Cord Cutting Event at The Crystal Garden. Allow me to facilitate this powerful ceremony with you - Monday, April 26 at 7:30 PM. Call 561-369-2836 to attend.

Gem Spot - Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli is a magnificent rich blue color with golden flecks of pyrite sparkling throughout. It's like the midnight sky in the palm of your hand. Lapis was used in ancient Egypt. Lapis hs been used to in crushed up form as a foundation for paint used in art work.

Today you can use it to ground and focus your attention. It's a great tool for meditation because of that. It's opens the third eye and the intuitive senses when used with conscious intent. It's a good stone to help you remember your dreams and promote clarity in the dream time.

Lapis Lazuli, like all dark blue stones, can assist in calming inflammations. So if it's an inflamed part of the body or inflamed emotions or anger - it's a great tool to use as an aid to stay focused on calming down and releasing the source of the fear creating the inflammation..

Stop by The Crystal Garden to get your self a piece of Lapis Lazuli.

Gem Spot: Prehnite

My first encounter with prehnite was in Glastonbury, England. First impressions are important and my first impression of this delicious gemstone was LOVE. The energy emanating from this light green rock oozed the healing vibe of love and goodness. It opens your heart allowing for the good things in life to manifest in your reality.

I just bought a new batch of prehnite which reminded me of my first introduction to this gem. These gemstones are from Mali, Africa and have epidote inclusions. The epidote amplifies the prehnite's love vibration.by connecting heaven and earth. Epidote aligns you to parallel realities which shows you how you already know how to be free in love.

Both prehnite and epidote teaches transparency in relationships to authentically connect.with another.

Come by The Crystal Garden to view, touch, hold and experience prehnite in person.

Completing a Chapter of Life

Over the past months including more months into the future, this time of my life has been about completion. An era has ended. A chapter or three are closed now. The timing of completion seemingly coincided with the few days before the Vernal Equinox.

This past weekend, my love, Vincent, and I headed across the state to Clearwater. My godmother passed away and we went to assist her sister, my other aunt in clearing out the apartment. She had it all done by the time we got there. Her efficiency gave us the time to revisit important places of our past, have a a long walk down memory lane and say good-bye to fond memories.

In 1945, my grandfather pioneered his way in the Clearwater area. He built some homes where hardly any infrastructure existed. He developed a block which is now called Lembo Circle off of Druid Road. There was a sign up on Lembo Circle showing an upcoming development called Lembo Court. We stopped by and picked some grapefruit off of Grandpa's tree and headed over the Clearwater Beach.

Over the years of visiting Florida, we spent many days on that beach feeding seagulls and enjoying the sun and surf. Many of our old reel-to-reel black and white moving pictures show the family enjoying the beach and playing in the sand.

We also had to visit the old Kapok Tree. Our whole family has fond memories of having dinners at that amazing restaurant and gardens during it's hey day. It is now owned by Sam Ash Music Stores and there is a Kapok Special Events location. The day we went they were preparing for a prom.

As we drove home from an amazingly loving visit with my Aunt Dolly and Clearwater, I contemplated that the last of the Lembo family is gone from Clearwater. The era has ended. Although I continue to clear out the many closets, drawers, cabinets and more of my parent's huge home (want to rent it?) I know I am still in the process of endings. With every ending is a new beginning.

I look forward as I prepare to write the next chapter of my life. Using the energy of the Vernal Equinox when the sun has just entered Aries, the next cycle begins anew!

What cycles are you ending? How are you writing your next chapter?

Seeking Balance: Align Your Chakras

It's good to feel good. It's good to feel fine. (gotta song in my head . . .) So, the question is, "How does one find balance in order to achieve feeling good and fine?"

The first step is to have the awareness that something is out of balance. The second step is to uncover what the out of balance condition is and then take action to recapture feeling good. Emotions are elusive. Some people aren't wired to acknowledge their feelings but will act out in other ways. Others emote every day in every way. One way of being or the other is not good or bad, it just is.

Ultimately, the goal is to regain balance. There are many tools available to achieve this goal. Journaling can help you get in touch with your feelings. Dream analysis will help you recognize buried issues. Working with color and gemstones are beneficial.

Kyanite, pictured above, is a gemstone that is reputed to "align the chakras with or without conscious direction." Add your intention that you wish to feel balanced and aligned while holding kyanite. You can also place a piece of kyanite into your pillow case while you sleep, on your desk while you work or in your pocket, purse or brief case. Every time you look at the kyanite it will remind you of your intention and help you achieve your goal. What you focus on is what creates your reality.

What gemstones do you use to help you feel balanced?

World Peace Requires Inner Peace

On Wednesday, February 24, 2010, I had the great honor to be in the same room as H.H. the Dalai Lama. It was a big room and there were approximately 3000 people there with me, but at least I was in his presence. The last time I had the blessing to see and hear him was between Hurricanes Frances and Jean in the Fall of 2004. There were about 10,000 people in the stadium for those events. I was blessed to attend the General Address and the 3 days of teachings of Padmasambahva that followed.

In this address, the Dalai Lama expressed the following. He said that people want affection. As children we have the affection of our mothers. If that is missing at a young age it has an affect on us throughout our lives unless we receive the affection that we need. He said even cats have the capacity to know sincere affection. If you show them kindness and affection, they respond.

A mother's attention is active care. This active care is used as a seed for world peace. World Peace requires inner peace. Without inner peace attaining world peace is impossible.

Shifting and changing emotions

Constant change is a given. The balance of the emotional body can get stuck in various parts of the physical body. The imbalance may present itself as a sore back, a congested bronchial passage or a recurring condition of any sort. The key to realigning the imbalance into wellness is to find the source.

Gem Spot - Turquoise

In contemplation of communication with the heavenly realm, I focused on the color turquoise. Turquoise is also a gorgeous gemstone that is also a stone of protection as well as connecting Heaven and Earth. The color turquoise is strongly associated with the throat chakra.

The throat chakra or energy center is the foundation of your ability to know the truth, live your truth and speak your truth. It is also the place from which we truly hear, not just listen, to others. Others include communication from friends, colleagues and family but also from your guides and angels. This stone encourages a peaceful and calming demeanor. The color is the complimentary color for calming inflamed situations or bringing balance to rampant emotions.

The reason turquoise came to mind is because I want to communicate with one of the Archangels on behalf of a friend.

Embracing Feelings

There are so many ways to deal with feelings. You can ignore them. You can be angry. You can work and do things to avoid feeling the feelings. You can try to please those around you by hiding the feelings so your family or friends won't be uncomfortable. But in the end, the reality strikes and eventually you must embrace your feelings.

If the feelings are shoved down to far they'll eventually cause illness. If you are lucky, you'll manifest a simple cold that'll make you stop, rest, feel, cry and take the time to nurture yourself during your "down time." If you aren't so lucky, you could manifest something much more serious after it's too late.

Even though it's uncomfortable it is important to let feelings rise to the surface. It is healthy. It is also a very vulnerable feeling. There is great power in vulnerability. This brings to mind an article I wrote in 2006 when my Aunt Rose and my Dad were still alive. At this time I am grieving the loss of 3 elders that transitioned in the past 6 months. They were my closest parental figures. I embrace the feelings I have, for I miss my dearest Dad, Marguerite Barringer and Aunt Rose so much. I m happy for them because I feel their joy but it doesn't stop the feelings of missing them. Please read my article of July 2006.

We have all been here before . . .

I woke up in contemplation of the lovely elders in my life. Then I really woke up and realized my favorite elders are now in the heavenly realm. The elders I was closest to and whom I love so much took the exit out of this lifetime. They have headed on to another dimensional reality. My sweet Godmother, Aunt Rose, left for heaven on Monday, 2/1. And Marguerite Barringer left on July 10, 2009 and dear old Dad left on November 23, 2009.

I'm not grieving in the traditional sense for them anymore. I feel nostalgic occasionally and I do "hear" from them and "see" them from time to time. I hear from them in the words that come out of my own mouth. Their words of wisdom they've taught me over the years flow through me to remind me and those around me of the bigger picture and love. I see them in my dreams and they are so happy! Their happiness relieves me from grasping for their presence. Instead I celebrate their freedom and join with them in their joy - heart to heart and mind to mind.

During my father's last months on the planet, I learned so much. (and I learned a lot through a whole lifetime as the daughter of both my parents.) There was a special moment the night before Dad left for the heavenly realm. Actually it felt like 20 minutes but one can't time these things. In those moments, I felt not only his boundless love and gratitude for me but also a passing of the mantle of his wisdom like a download that can't be expressed in words. Because of this immeasurable gift, I am at peace.

I believe in past lives and future lives. During the days he was preparing to leave his body, Dad shared he was considering returning here again. He said, "you know, I think I want to do this again." I said, "What do you mean, Dad?" He said, "I want to start over again. I think I can do it even better next time. Yes, I think I'll do that."

As part of my spiritual practice, I facilitate Past Life Regressions for my clients. I'll be offering a group Past Life Regresssion experience on Monday, February 8th at The Crystal Garden. This gives people a little experience in tapping into their prior experiences which in turn helps them with present day challenges or repetitive patterns. (If you are interested, call to sign up or schedule a private. Ooops - I guess this is the paragraph with a commercial advertisement!)

Relationship with yourself

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, my thoughts flow toward relationships. All relationships require time. Time to enjoy each other, time to cultivate a deeper bond, time to just be. This time is a necessary ingredient in all healthy relationships. In fact, taking the time to ponder who and what you are in relationship with is an interesting thing to contemplate.

We have a romantic relationship (or not). We have platonic relationships, business relationships, co-worker relationships, and acquaintance relationships. Then there is the relationship we have with animals and nature - including the garden. Actually, we have a relationship with everything including the device that is allowing you to read this blog in this moment. But what about the relationship we have with ourselves?

Take a bit of time to pause and look in the mirror. Place your attention on the relationship you have with yourself. Observe and contemplate your thoughts and listen to yourself and the things you say to yourself. Do you like the way you treat yourself? Are you loving yourself the way you want to be loved?

During this month of love, celebrate the love for you have for yourself. If you don't find it, then weed out whatever is in the way and take the time to cultivate self-love.

Whatcha Thinking?

Are you aware of what you are thinking about? Did you know that your consciousness creates your reality? What if you are unconscious of what you are thinking? And - what if you realize you are having negative worrisome thoughts and you just can't stop?

The first step in making the shift is to become conscious. Become conscious of the present moment and what you are thinking. Are you doing one thing yet wishing for and doing another? I'd betcha that if you aren't manifesting what you want in your life that you are doing and thinking one way and just have fleeting moments of wishing and wanting this or that.

In order to truly manifest your life the way you want it to be, you may have to throw away some of your current thought patterns and re-establish new ones. Once the new thought patterns are established then you need to get up and take action. Make your life happen. Don't have your life happen to you.

What if today was your last day here on the planet? Would you look back with regrets and a bunch of "would've, could've, should'ves" or "I wish I had . . .?"

Start today and decide that you have the courage to step up and be all that you can be!

On a closing note, what if I had said, "Who am I to write a book on chakras, color, crystals, aromatherapy?" Then my new book wouldn't be coming out this year! The title is Chakra Consciousness: Transform Your Reality Using Crystals, Color, Aromatherapy, and the Power of Positive Thought coming out Fall 2010 with Llewellyn Worldwide.

Making the Shift

So many of us start out the New Year wanting to make changes for the better. It is often a time of reflection of what has happened in the past, how we don't want certain things to keep replaying and then a focus on a list of goals. So what is the magic bullet to get you off the groove or rut you feel stuck in? What will suddenly change after that momentous strike of the clock into the New Year?
I've decided to use the basic principle of shifting the assemblage point of my consciousness by moving things in my personal surroundings. I first learned of the assemblage point - the point in one's consciousness from which all of life is perceived, reacted from and created upon - from the teachings of Carlos Castaneda. By making a simple act of changing your surroundings, you can change the way you perceive reality and make the necessary shifts to modify your life.

It is all very simple. I made 2 changes as the year was changing. I moved my make up drawer, brushes and all my personal toiletries to different drawers, shelves and locations. The other change was the reorganization of my pantry and more specifically the location of my sacred coffee and coffee grinder. You could view it as micro-feng shui.
By making these alterations, it changes the "order" in which I do things and breaks up the monotonous groove I had created. It brings my awareness from doing things rotely and unconsciously to being present in the moment from the start of my day. These simple modifications alerts my inner awareness that I have chosen to shift my reality. With this simple tool, it wakes up the consciousness to make much greater shifts and the momentum realigns my reality to match my intentions.

Altering simple unconcious behaviors moves the assemblage point to create new intentions and focus. Reality follows intentions. It has been said, "Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change." How will you change the way you look at things?
